The new Agri-Solar Park call of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) represents a significant opportunity for agricultural and agro-industrial enterprises. This call, launched as part of the initiatives to promote sustainability and energy efficiency, offers financial resources for a total of about 1 billion euros.

Agricultural and agro-industrial enterprises, both individually and in aggregate, are the main beneficiaries of this measure. This call aims to support sustainable development in the agricultural sector through the installation of photovoltaic systems and energy requalification interventions.

The fundable interventions include the installation of photovoltaic systems with a power range between 6 kWp and 1000 kWp. These systems must be located on the roofs and covers of buildings used for agricultural, zootechnical, and agro-industrial activities. Moreover, it is possible to carry out energy requalification interventions such as asbestos removal, thermal insulation of roofs, and the creation of a ventilation system.

The contributions offered by this call are non-repayable and can cover up to 80% of the eligible costs. The amount of financing varies depending on the category of the company and the sector to which it belongs, with a particular focus on enterprises in primary agricultural production.
